Does it use our definitions of a metric?
Yes. Metric definitions are set and controlled by your administrators, so revenue means what your finance team says it means.
Do we need a developer or a BI licence?
No. The person who needs the view describes it. If you already run Power BI or another analytics tool, Sage connects to it rather than replacing it.
Is it live or a snapshot?
Live. A dashboard stays connected to the systems the numbers come from, so it is current every time it is opened.
Can people see figures they should not?
No. A dashboard runs inside the same per-user scope as everything else and shows only what that person is cleared to reach.
