Do we have to organise our data first?

No. Sage reads content rather than file names, and data preparation is part of the implementation work. Organising what you can in advance shortens the timeline and lowers the effort, but it is not a precondition.

How large can it get?

A separate context and search layer can be built for large document pools, scaled to semantic search across millions of records. Capacity is sized to your data volume, concurrent users, tasks and agents.

What about scans and handwriting?

They need extra processing. Sage reads and classifies by content, but a file with no text layer has to be extracted or converted first, and accuracy varies with the quality of the document. This is tested during implementation.

Can we keep sources apart?

Yes. Company information is held in separate layers from precedent, legislation or sector sources, and the system searches the layer the task calls for.

Who can see what is in it?

Access is set per user. The tools, databases, functions and sources each person can reach are defined individually by your administrators.

Does the knowledge stay ours?

Yes. The base sits in your environment, it is never used to train an outside model, and it stays with the organisation when people leave.
